Coach Mike Ellis (Evanston HS), believes that "Victory favors the team that makes the fewest mistakes." The teams achieving post-season success at the high school, college, and pro levels, are the teams that are able to play to their strengths the best. He cautions not to be so determined to improve deficiencies late in the season that you lose focus on playing to the strengths of your team.
